I purchased the Image earphones last Dec and have been using them ever since. They do get a little bit of getting used to and you need to take the time to try and find the right gel size. Comfortable enough but after a couple of hours I do need to give my ears a break though.
The sound quality is by far the best I've experienced for earphones. I am especially impressed when playing classical music such as Rachmaninov's Piano concerto - the sound is rich and detailed. It's warm and crisp when playing Stan Getz live, and does U2 justice. It fares less well with heavy bass hip hop (50cents, Kayne West) but sounds totally fine with A tribe called quest and The Roots which lead me to conclude maybe that's something to do with the recording.
So is it worth it? I wasn't impressed when I found out a week after I ordered it Amazon slashed the price by 50 quid from 220 I think. While this pair of earphones cost more than my $399 ipod, yes it's worth it - unless you are in the US where you can get a pair for $200!
